This exterior was in rough shape when our client asked us to repaint the entire home and trim. Our skilled painters made sure to scrape off and clean all loose paint chips, sand it down, and then prime with an exterior wood primer to protect the bare wood and ensure this paint jobs longevity.
After priming, we sprayed 2 coats on the whole exterior with Sherwin Williams Duration product, and finished off by painting all the trim in a semi-gloss exterior black. The client was pleased we were able to complete the whole exterior in the budget and time frame discussed.
While painting this older home, we noticed many areas of trim that required a repair and a repaint. We repaired the seams and nail holes and primed before being sprayed.
This trim was given new life after being sprayed with Renner lacquer in a satin sheen. We always apply this kind of care and proper prep work when repainting your home.
After all the prep work was finished on this gate and fence, we applied a semi-transparent stain from Superdeck cedar stain. Our team made sure to apply the stain evenly in the hot sun so there were no drips, splotches or overlap.
This cedar fence was in need of some TLC. For prep we pressure washed and applied Superdeck Stain Remover with a bit of elbow grease to remove the stains and uneven look of the cedar tannins.
After this was allowed to dry properly, we applied a light coat of Superdeck Revive to bring out the beautiful cedar tones of the wood before staining.
This project tested out some new skills and attention to detail. Our client had custom stairs and cabinets built into their existing home.
We needed to use a wood toner on the red oak so it could match the existing white oak. Each area required a large amount of prep work and care, as stain is not very forgiving!
After staining, we applied a two-part catalytic conversion lacquer in a satin sheen to create a beautiful, even, protective coat on the stairs and cabinets for long lasting durability. The client was so pleased with the cabinets that we ended up painting the interior of her home as well.
This stairwell needed some TLC as it hadn't been painted since the clients moved in. We took care to patch the many holes, take down fixtures and be mindful and deliberate while working on carpet.
Two new colours of paint adds a fresh and modern look to this staircase! This deep Newportbury Blue from Ben Moore matches the colour of the cabinets in the kitchen (below)
The client had decided that these wooden cabinets needed an update! Not pictured here were also the kitchen island and two wooden benches at the back and front entrances.
Our team uninstalled all the hardware from the doors and the doors themselves to be prepped and sprayed in our shop. The built-in cabinets and rest of the kithchen were then carefully prepped for spray.
Make over complete! The two tone cabinets were a challenge but the clients were thrilled with the results and with how much it brightened and modernized their space.
After spray priming, we used a satin sheen lacquer by Renner (Sherwin Williams) - this product gives a reliable, smooth result with some of the best durability specifications on the market.
